The powerful SL 40 is the successor model to our proven SL 20 and, like it, is characterized by its extremely compact design. In contrast to most other laser welding machines, the system has a robust steel housing that offers better shielding against electromagnetic radiation. The device is designed for very small rooms with already pre-assembled furniture it is easily and quickly installed. With the SL 40 all laser welding tasks of a small workshop can easily be done. With the 5 litres of water cooling the SL 40 is prepared for continuous operation. An efficient welding fumes extraction with fi ne dust particle filter is integrated as well. The high-quality stereo microscope magnifies 15x for optimal observation of the welding process. The optional mode aperture enables the beam diameter to be reduced to a mere 0.05 mm. This is of especially great benefit for very delicate workpieces. The SL 40 achieved despite its compact design remarkable performance data.
