The Transparent Medium Temperature – Medium Expansion Vitreous Enamels from Thompson Enamel are designed to deliver vibrant, crystal-clear finishes for jewellers, enamellists, and metal artists. Suitable for copper, gold, silver, low carbon steel, and metal clay, these enamels fire beautifully in the 1400–1500ºF temperature range, making them versatile for various techniques and firing schedules.
With a coefficient of expansion range from 258–360 cubic expansion, these enamels bond securely while maintaining their lustrous, transparent quality. They are supplied in a 57g (2oz) plastic jar with a mesh size of 6/20 bead mesh (particle size ~1,5-3,5 mm), ensuring consistent application and even coverage. Please note that certain shades—2325 Gem Green, 2435 Turquoise, 2600 Opalescent, and 2650 Heron Blue—are supplied in a fine powdered form for enhanced blending and detailed effects.
