Durston’s PT Rhodium Initial Concentrate is a premium pre-rhodium plating solution, designed to enhance adhesion, uniformity, and brilliance in professional jewellery finishing. This advanced formula combines 0.7g of platinum and 0.3g of rhodium, offering the look, durability, and reflectivity of pure rhodium with improved throwing power and surface coverage.

This 250ml concentrate is intended to be diluted to 1 litre with deionised water for use in plating baths. It’s especially effective when used as a pre-coat before final rhodium application, ensuring a more consistent and radiant result—ideal for fine jewellery applications requiring a high-lustre, brilliant white surface.

Operating Parameters & Usage Instructions

• Dilution Ratio: Dilute 250ml concentrate with deionised water to make 1 litre of plating solution
• Voltage: 3.4 – 4.5 V
• Plating Time: 30 – 90 seconds
• Temperature: 45°C (do not exceed 65°C)
• Agitation: Stirring and part movement improves plating results and uniformity
• Compatibility: Use only in dedicated plating baths; do not mix with alkaline solutions
