Aqua Ambra Aquila 2026: Stage One Results Announced
The first stage of the Aqua Ambra Aquila 2026 international jewellery competition has now concluded, and the jury has selected ten finalists to continue to the second part of the competition.
This year’s competition attracted strong international interest, with over 90 submissions received from 17 countries.
Commenting on the selection process, Henrik Kihlman, Executive Director of Suomen Kultaseppien Liitto, noted: “The jury had a tough job to screen out the ten finalists but was able to reach a consensus and pick out the 10 finalists for this year’s edition of the competition.”
The ten finalists are:
- Luba Sokolovsky — Belgium
- Satu Pyhänniska — Finland
- Kristýna Španihelová — Czech Republic
- Reet Salonen — Finland / Estonia
- Jaeseop Shin — South Korea
- Naama Ben Porat — Israel
- Siri Hansen — Sweden
- Anita Neri — Italy
- Susana Barbosa — Portugal
- Astari G. Swatantri — Finland / Indonesia
The competition now moves into its second stage. The finalists will realise their designs and submit the original jewellery pieces by 15 August 2026 at the latest. After the finished pieces have arrived, the jury will examine them live before selecting the winner, second prize and third prize recipients. This final jury assessment will take place in late August or early September.
The final results and awards will be announced at the opening of the finalists’ exhibition at Museo Kruunu in Finland on 15 September 2026. The results will also be published through the competition’s official channels.
