Designed, developed and manufactured in Switzerland, these high-quality Vallorbe files undergo rigorous checks to ensure they stand the test of time. Made from high carbon steel and suitable for use on all metals, they deliver a superior performance time and again.

This Vallorbe Barrette Needle File measures 160mm in length, 5.1mm in width and 1.8mm thick.

It features one cutting face that tapers to a point and two angled safety backs, making it ideal for filing tight spaces where only one surface needs to be filed.

Jewellers may wish to use a separate set of needle files for gold work to avoid cross-contamination of metal.

Although it is not necessary to use a handle with needle files, it makes use more ergonomic, specific needle file handles are available here.

This file has a coarse cut 0 finish. The coarser the file, the more material it removes. Files are graded as follows:

• cut 0 – coarse
• cut 2 – medium
• cut 4 – fine
• cut 6 – extra fine
