Description
The Cold Enamel Catalyst 180M is a precision hardener designed to enhance cold enamel work on flat, edgeless surfaces. With a slightly denser viscosity than standard hardeners, it allows enamel to naturally dome without spilling over, creating an elegant lens-like finish. This makes it especially suitable for jewellery pieces, decorative inlays, and craftwork where dimensional clarity and shine are key.
When mixed with 100 g of enamel, 50 g of Catalyst 180M ensures optimal curing performance. Apply a minimum amount to the object to be decorated with the enamel to achieve the desired effect and to obtain a perfect surface. Remove any small bubbles that may form by quickly and carefully moving a flame over the newly applied enamel. Simply bake at 80°C for 90 minutes to achieve a durable, glossy finish. Ensure that the container containing the hardener is completely sealed after each use, as this type of product tends to crystallise.
